para que necesitamus un dia mundial del medio ambiente si no par estrenar una PELICULA..

Lo que deberías saber acerca del UNICEL

• ocupa mucho espacio, llenando los rellenos sanitarios (tiraderos) rápidamente, lo cual reduce su vida útil. (si tuvieramos tiraderos utiles no habrían tantas moscas! ni enfermedades! ni malos olores! y cuando llueve! va al subsuelo.. lagos y rios, en fin...a tu casa y a tu cuerpo...)
• El unicel NO se recicla (El unicel es uno de los materiales menos amigables con el ambiente. No es biodegradable, incluso tras 500 años el platito o vasito que tenías en la mano esta mañana, estará en algún lugar de la superficie terrestre.)
• El unicel es mortal para la vida marina (El unicel flota en la superficie del océano, se descompone en bolitas que parecen comida y los animales las comen. Las tortugas de mar pierden su capacidad de sumergirse y mueren de hambre.)
• Daños a nuestra salud (El unicel es un plástico hecho a partir de un derivado del petróleo conocido como estireno, el cual es considerado actualmente como un posible cancerígeno.

  El unicel segrega sustancias tóxicas al contacto con las comidas y bebidas, que amenazan la salud, especialmente el sistema reproductivo.

  • Evita las comidas rápidas o preparadas que llevan este tipo de envoltorio. Acostúmbrate a llevar tus propios envases.
  • Busca aquellos productos cuyo envoltorio sea reciclable: cartón, papel, vidrio retornable etc.
  • En vez de utilizar vasos de usar y tirar, lleva tu propia taza de café al trabajo.
  • Exige a los establecimientos que no utilicen unicel. Habla con el encargado: ¡ TU OPINION les interesa mucho ! quizas no pero chance...

EL UNICEL_que es y de donde viene...

Mi nombre real es El poliestireno (PS) es el tercer termoplástico, ("que es un termoplastico..?" Los termoplásticos son polímeros, "que es un polimero?..caray haz click" de cadenas largas que cuando se calientan se reblandecen y pueden moldearse a presión. Representan el 78-80% de consumo total de los plásticos.) de mayor uso debido a sus propiedades y a la facilidad de su fabricación.

El PS posee baja densidad, estabilidad térmica y bajo costo.

El poliestireno es una resina clara y transparente con un amplio rango de puntos de fusión. Fluye fácilmente, lo que favorece su uso en el moldeo por inyección.

Posee buenas propiedades eléctricas que lo hacen apropiado para aplicaciones electrónicas. El Ps absorbe poca agua, lo que permite que sea un buen aislante eléctrico. Tiene una resistencia moderada a los productos químicos, pero es atacado por los hidrocarburos aromáticos y los clorados.

Esta resina se comercializa en tres diferentes formas y calidades:

El primer tipo, denominado de uso común o cristal, encuentra sus principales aplicaciones en los mercados de inyección y moldeo.

El segundo tipo corresponde al poliestireno de impacto (alto, medio y bajo) que sustituye al de uso general cuando se desea mayor resistencia. Éste se utiliza también en los mercados de moldeo para la fabricación de aparatos del hogar, accesorios eléctricos, empaque, juguetes y muebles.

Finalmente, el tipo expandible se emplea en la fabricación de espuma de poliestireno que, a su vez, se utiliza en la producción de accesorios para la industria de empaques y aislamientos.

En 1983, la producción de poliestireno en México, según los diferentes tipos, fue la siguiente: impacto, 52%; cristal, 35%; expandible, 13%.

Los usos más comunes del poliestireno en México son los siguientes:

• Poliestireno de medio impacto: Envases desechables (vasos, cubiertos, platos), empaques, juguetes.
• Poliestireno de alto impacto: Productos domésticos (radios, televisores, tableros internos de refrigeradores, licuadoras, batidoras, lavadoras, etc.), tacones para zapatos, juguetes.
• Poliestireno cristal: piezas moldeadas para cassettes, envases desechables, juguetes, artículos electrodomésticos, difusores de luz, plafones.
• Poliestireno expandible: envases térmicos, empaque, construcción (aislamientos, tableros de cancelería, plafones, casetones, etc.).

El Impacto ambiental es definido por la LGEEPA como: “...la modificación del ambiente ocasionada por la acción del hombre o de la naturaleza”. 

Además señala que el Desequilibrio ecológico es “...la alteración de las relaciones de interdependencia entre los elementos naturales que conforman el ambiente, que afecta negativamente la existencia, transformación y desarrollo del hombre y demás seres vivos”.

 Y UNA MANIFESTACION DE IMPACTO AMBIENTAL (MIA) ES:

“…el documento mediante el cual se da a conocer, con base en estudios, el impacto ambiental, significativo y potencial que generaría una OBRA o ACTIVIDAD (EN EUA LO DENOMINAN "PROJECT" ok, yeah), así como la forma de EVITARLO o ATENUARLO en caso de que sea negativo”.

Por su parte, el concepto de Evaluación del Impacto Ambiental es definido por la misma ley en su ARTICULO 28 como 

“…el procedimiento a través del cual la secretaría (SEMARNAT), establece las condiciones a que se sujetará la realización de obras y actividades (PROJECT OK) que puedan causar desequiliobrio ecológico rebasar los límites y condiciones establecidos en las disposi

ciones aplicables para proteger el ambiente y preservar y restaurar los ecosistemas, a fin de evitar o reducir al mínimo sus efectos negativos sobre el ambiente.

In the Hudson Yard area of Manhattan, this urban high rise farm introduces inherently political opposing elements; farmers (producers) and New Yorkers (consumers) through farms, workers housing, and market places.  Through the mixing of politically opposing classes, social and cultural confrontations are generated within a high rise typology by introducing producers of biomass into the city, a place of historic biomass consumption.  In so doing, the high rise is re-defined not by efficiency, but rather through the use of surfaces to orchestrate the dynamic programmatic interactions and the multiplicity of spatial organization they suppose.  The essence of these social/political programmatic relationships is unclear. The spaces they create are lived not represented (or conceived).  One can only speculate on the range of lived relationships and oppositions that might form within and around this urban farm.  Through food production and consumption, this skyscraper sets up a fluctuation of varying densities and collections of people, bringing together different social and cultural groups, creating new and unforeseen urban experiences that form and dissipate within the flux of city life.  By defining programs, this tower does not seek to control and manipulate interaction between politically dynamic groups of farmers and consumers, but rather give a place for the acting out of a multiplicity of outcomes.  Program is merely a  given caricature not a dictated function.  The interior surfaces  do not prescribe function but merely hint at a potential.  It is up to the everyday users to define that outcome of the space they inhabit given the environment they inherit. 

In this urban high rise farm, the romanticizing of modern food production or utopian garden city additions are rejected. Rather, if farming is truly able to provide adequately for a city, a dystopian stage of agricultural production which uses mans control over the growth process, must be accepted.  This project accepts genetic engineering, airoponic watering and nutrient technologies (a method of spraying plant roots with needed solutions), and controlled lighting and CO2 levels (to maximize plant growth and food production).  The tower takes into consideration the different stages of plant production; cloning, vegetative stage and flowering stage to maximize food production as much as possible.  In addition it is assumed that genetically engineered plants will be bread to maximize both the nutitianal value and production of the crops within the tower.  Genetic engineering is controversial but necessary if the tower is to accommodate Manhattan’s food production needs.  It is projected that multiple towers will be needed to meet manhattans food production needs.  Accordingly a new type of city dweller is created, the nomadic worker, who moves throughout the city tending its food production needs and resisting and reversing the suburbanization of Manhattan.

Looking at density (building height), value of land, underdevelopment in relation to deviation from the perfect market and relation to maximum zoning allowance, as well as existing urban markets throughout Manhattan, several optimum sites for urban farms were chosen. Given the planed high profile nature and the dramatic increase in density of the Hudson Yard area development,  it was chosen as the flagship of Manhattan urban farms.

This projects investigation draws on the material logic of plant mechanics.    The plant cells of ferns have  evolved bio-mechanical configurations which maximize strength while minimizing material.  Using these attributes, analogue models were created investigating a new structural system for high rise construction that allows for dynamic interior spaces.

Applying non-linear programmatic rules to the functions of an urban farm, this project investigates how self-organizing computation can be used to organize programmatic elements.  Each programmatic element was given a set of simple rules which encompassed its conceptual and contextual needs, resulting in a complex fluctuating system.  This system already had inherent political opposition; farmers and farms (producers) and New Yorkers and markets (consumers).  Accordingly, how the program organized itself within the computer always had inherent cultural and social dynamics.  The organization of the program, within a skyscraper, brought these politically charged programs into varying degrees of confrontation and organization.

Breaking down the structural mechanics of the spinal cord in to basic compression and tension members, an adaptive structure was created to support the  elevator core, which borrows its variability from roller coaster design.

el transporte como elemento necesario en nuestra planificacion urbana

1. Este elemento tiene como objetivo balancear la formas en las que transportamos nuestros productos y a nosotros mismos.
2. La palabra clave es Balance.
3. La mayoria de las sociedades hoy en dia han abusado del uso del automobil como modo de transporte y han olvidado las alternativas a este. Hasta el punto en el que nos hemos convertido en sociedades insustentables desde el punto de vista economico, ecologico y equitativo
4. Por lo tanto para poder acercarnos a este balance y obtener sustentabilidad, debemos de enfocarnos en el "transporte alternativo".
5. caminar y andar en bicicleta es parete del enfoque alternativo, ya que ademas de ser divertido, romantico y estetico es saludable, no obstante no satisface nuestros requisitos de transporte hoy en dia, pero podemos sustituir un 30 0 40 por ciento de viajes en auto por esta modalidad.
6. Debido a que no podemos hacer todo en bicicleta o caminando, debemos apoyar obras de transporte publico y promover eficiencia y economia (ejemplo. metrobus) e integrarlo a nuestro modo de vida.

Students in a Sonoma State University course are studying how to build sustainable communities, dealing with issues that range from ecology to economics.“We are drilling into transportation, land use, housing, food, energy and water,” said Rocky Rohwedder, an SSU professor of environmental studies and planning. “What are the equity issues, the economic issues. It is very theoretical and hard to wrap your hands around.”To bring it down to earth, the class looks at examples of what some cities and countries are doing.“You can have a sustainable world and still have a warm shower and cold beer,” Rohwedder. “But we have to think differently.”Students are looking closely at Sonoma State’s own practices as well.“The university needs to be a model of responsibility, of sustainability,” Rohwedder said. “If not here, then where? How can we expect communities around us to have sustainable policies and programs if the university doesn’t do it?”The class is adhering to the United Nation’s proclamation of a decade of study of sustainable development, running from 2005 to 2015.Its title, “Planning for Sustainable Communities,” is meant to be a step beyond Earth Day.“Earth Day has been about endangered species and about recycling,” Rohwedder said. “This class is asking the bigger question ... what next ... looking at structures and change for communities and not just green consumerism.”People must make substantial changes in how they live to bring the earth back into balance, so that they are not consuming more resources than the earth can supply, he said.“The bottom line here is we can’t just tweak the edges and get to where we need to be. Preservar Nuestra raza puede ser algo no del todo ATractivo --SI No PERTENECIERA YO a ella.

De los 4.5 billones de anos(de acuerdo a los concensos sientificos actualmente) que tiene de vida la tierra (como planeta) , ha sufrido varios desastres, la tierra ya ha pasado por calentamiento global y por la epoca de hielo, extincion de especies --ha mutado y evolucionado y creado simpre finalmente un orden de systemas despues del Caos-- , LOS PROBLEMAS GLOBALS QUE ENFRENTAMOS indican que la tierra nuevamente esta al margen del CAOS. La diferencia es que esta vez lo genereamos Los Humanos -MI RAZA y consecuentemente la de mi Hijo e Hija.

O hacemos algo Por Preservar NUESTRA RAZA en el PLAneta Tierra. Y nos olvidamos de que en los ultimos 100 anos nos encargamos de destruir lo que acostumbramos llamar "NUESTRO" planeta.. , Nuestra Tierra, Nuestro Bosque, Nuestra Madera, Nuestro Mar, Nuestros Peces, Nuestro Petroleo, Nuestro Carbon, Nuestro, Nuestro Nuestro,Nuestro...
